What are the health benefits of bee products?

Bee products are the wonder healers. 

With its astounding health benefits, raw, unheated honey is great for the skin and one of the most beneficial beauty ingredients on the market. Honey is a natural moisturizer and is full of antioxidants and is very hydrating; therefore, it is fantastic for dry skin. 

The antioxidants found in honey and beeswax can not only protect the skin from environmental aggressors, but also help reverse some premature signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles and dullness.

Manuka honey is most well-known for its healing properties and is filled with antioxidants, and it contains anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce the appearance of acne whilst also helping keep skin hydrated.

Royal jelly enhances collagen production and protects skin against aging, skincare problems such as eczema.

Propolis is used by bees to prevent bacteria getting into the bee hives.  Our Australian bee keepers scrape the excess and unwanted propolis to use in our skin care products so we also can benefit from this antibaterial natural potent ingredient.  

Propolis is rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids and is considered another “wonder” ingredient made by bees, with its powerful healing benefits. Propolis has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties

What are the health benefits of botanical essential oils?

Using botanical oils as part of our daily skincare routine can help to feed, nourish and re-hydrate the skin. Many plants, flowers and seeds produce beneficial oils which contain a variety of bioactive molecules with incredible skin healing and nourishing properties.

What are the health benefits of goats milk?

Goat’s Milk is a rich source of vitamin B-12, protein, potassium and phosphorous and is a beneficial in skin care - particularly for its natural lactic acid make it an ingredient suitable for people prone to dry skin. It has a great pH level and nutritional makeup.

Goat milk is full of moisture-boosting fat molecules, redness-reducing exfoliating acids, nourishing vitamin A, and a handful of other skin-loving minerals that make it a powerful, yet gentle antidote for everything from eczema to acne. But don't just take our word for it.  

What are the health benefits of donkey milk?

Donkey Milk is the natural milk produced by donkeys - and is great for the skin. Fun fact: Cleopatra used donkey milk baths as a skin beauty treatment due to its healing, nutritional and rejuvenating properties!

Due to its its pH level and nutritional makeup, donkey milk is the closest substitute for women’s breast milk! It is rich in vitamin E, amino acids, vitamins A, B1, B6, C, D, E, Omega 3 and 6. It contains high amounts of calcium and has four times less fat than cow’s milk. Its youth-keeping properties are enhanced by retinol found in the milk.

What are apiaries?

Apiaries are the bee farms where the bee hives are that produce the amazing honey and beeswax based products used in our skin care and candle range.  Pamela Coco sources these products from Australian apiaries who lovingly care for and protect their bees and the future of Australian bees.

My credit card has declined but I do have funds. Any ideas?

The card security matches your card number with the billing address. If you have shifted and not updated your card with your new address it may decline as it has not passed the security's check. This protects you if someone unauthorised is trying to use your card. Select the direct debit option.

 

Do you ship oversees?

At present, New Zealand is the only country that Pamela Coco ships to.  We will update this FAQ when we start selling oversees.
